Hello lovely people! I hope you all had a great weekend like I did. If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen some of the pictures from a wedding I attended yesterday. A good friend of mine got married and I was honored to witness his nuptials. It was a beautiful and classy wedding. My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves. I knew I wanted to look fabulous without spending a lot of money, so what I did was pretty simple. I asked one of my seamstresses to add African print fabric at the bottom of a old red dress of mine. That's it!!! I love recreating new looks from old clothes.
Am sorry about the quality of the pictures. My husband took them with his galaxy, i am an IPHONE user and my battery was dead so i had no choice. I do believe IPHONES take better pictures. All the same i hope you enjoyed the pictures. So what do you think about this dress? Would you try turning one of your old dresses into a gown like this? let me hear from you in the comments section. Hello lovely people! I hope you all had a great fathers day weekend. I took my husband out to brunch after church and we had a great time. I wore a floral peplum top over one of my old dresses and got compliments all day. It actually amazes me when i don't know what to wear, throw some items together and end up getting compliments. It further confirms that we don't always need to shop for new clothes. We just have to get creative and re-style the old ones. If you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen what i wore on Sunday. I will definitely do posts on re-styling our old clothes. The first official day of summer is June 21st(Saturday) and the temperature will keep rising. One of the ways we can protect our eyes from the harshness of the sun is to wear sunglasses. I have searched for some affordable, trendy and classic ones for this post.
I purchased mine at TARGET in February for a trip to miami.
I hope some of these are cool enough for you and can fit in your budget as well. If you are a soccer fan, you know my country Ghana is playing the United states today. I am on pins and needles. I wish both teams the best of luck.

I am welcoming June on the blog today with my beloved African Prints. I got this edgy blazer made during one of my travels to Ghana. I wore it once with blue pants and decided to wear it again with these oxblood high waist jeans.
